| Jeremie Daclin thought about creating Cliché in 1997. He had the desire to animate an European skate scene, strong and independent "The Old Europe"; as the Americans call it is rising. WE, the skateboarders community, are not a group trapped by some kind of stereotype coming from the so-called "promised land". We've got everything we need right here, tons of spots that just wait to be explored and loads of skilled skateboarders with the will to develop their own history without the need to copy. We took part in this revelation, feeding our originality with each rider's singularity coming from everywhere. Nevermind the borders, we are a scene. Light, camera, action we're not all on photocopiers anymore, waiting for new trends to digest. We are going to withstand and carry on doing this the right way with the team getting stronger and our horizons expanding. So here we are guys, we've all grown up and we've stopped messing around, we're ready to begin a Real European Skateboarding world with no boundaries. Cliche Skateboards |
