What can I do once I’m signed in?
With an account, you can submit skateparks, add skate shops, share upcoming events, and jump into the forum to connect with other skaters. You can also bookmark your favorite spots and track events you don’t want to miss. Your profile becomes a hub for staying in the loop and giving back to the skate scene.
How do I find skateparks near me?
Head over to our Skateparks page. You can search by city or use your current location. From there, filter by terrain type—street, transition, or DIY—and decide whether you’re looking for an indoor or outdoor park. Use the list or map view to scope out what’s nearby, then hit the pavement.
Can I submit a skatepark that’s not listed?
Absolutely. Log into your account and go to My Skate Parks. Click Submit a Skate Park, then fill out the name, location, terrain, and whether helmets or payment are required. You can also upload a photo or link. Once you hit submit, your spot helps the entire skate community discover new places to shred.
How do I explore skate shops in my area?
Visit our Skate Shops page and enter your city, or hit Use My Location to pull up nearby shops. You can adjust your search range, filter by shop type (independent, core, or chain), and view results in a list or map format. Each shop listing includes key details like location, phone number, and website links.
What if my local shop isn’t listed?
Easy fix. Once you’re logged into your account, head to My Skate Shops and click Submit a Skate Shop. Fill out the name, address, and whether it’s a core or independent shop. Add a quick description, upload a photo, and hit submit. Just like that, you’re helping more skaters find the places that support the culture.
How do I find skate events near me?
Go to our Events page and use the calendar to select a date or date range. Then type in your city or hit Use My Location to find what’s happening around you. You can narrow things down by event type, like contests, demos, or meetups, and sort your results in a list, map, or grid view. It’s your personal way to plan skate sessions with the crew.
Can I add an event to the site?
Yep. In your account, go to My Events and click Submit an Event. Fill in the details like name, location, dates, and type of event. You can add a flyer or drop a link if you’ve got one. Once approved, your event will be live and shareable across the Skateboards.com community.
