Foundation, formerly Foundation Super Co., was created by Tod Swank in 1989. Foundation Skateboards had some help distribute Foundation products from Steve Rocco, owner of World Industries. Foundation Super Co. became Foundation Skateboards in 1994 after Tod Swank moved the company to San Diego. Riders like Corey Duffel, Heath Kirchart and Leo Romero help keep the brand consistent with their original “core” or “hesh” style they have been rocking for decades.
